Spoken word or conversational recordings are often made under less than perfect conditions. Tape hiss and motor rumble, always present on cassette recordings, are usually more pronounced and audible on spoken word tapes. Noises such as dogs barking, phones ringing, or dishes clanking can override the conversation. If lectures or other academic proceedings are being recorded the microphone is often located too far away from the speaker for adequate recording.V.U. Sound Studio can minimize or eliminate these problems and preserve your most personal tape recordings to CD. We maintain specialized software and utilize digital filtering processes and techniques specifically designed to reduce or eliminate background sounds from recorded material. While we can't eliminate all unwanted noise from all recordings made under extreme conditions every time, we analyze and process each recording individually to maximize clarity and intelligibility.
